Shipping & Delivery Policy

Applies to orders placed on helloboon.com and Boon official channels in India.

1) Scope

This policy covers shipping and delivery for consumer orders fulfilled by Boon within India, including water purifiers (e.g., Purify Tall/Neo), Homie units, filters, cartridges, bottles and accessories. For enterprise installations (e.g., Boon Refill micro‑bottling plants), project‑specific logistics terms apply and will be shared in the commercial agreement.

Payment modes: Prepaid only (cards, UPI, net‑banking, wallets). Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.

2) Order Processing

  • Verification: Orders are verified within 0–1 business day (Mon–Sat, excluding public holidays).
  • Packing & dispatch: Typical dispatch within 1–2 business days for accessories/consumables and 2–4 business days for appliances, after successful payment and verification.
  • Cut‑off time: Orders placed after 1:00 PM IST are processed the next business day.
  • Stockouts: If an item is out of stock, you’ll be notified with options to wait, replace, or cancel with a full refund.

3) Delivery Timelines

Transit times depend on your pincode, courier network and serviceability. Indicative timelines from dispatch:

  • Metro cities: 2–5 business days
  • Non‑metro/Rest of India: 3–9 business days
  • Special zones (J&K, North‑East, islands): 5–12 business days

During peak season, extreme weather or unforeseen disruptions, deliveries may take longer. We’ll keep you informed via email/SMS.

4) Shipping Fees

  • Accessories & consumables: Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight/volumetric weight and destination. Periodic free‑shipping promos may apply and will be shown at checkout.
  • Purifiers & appliances: Standard doorstep delivery is included in the price unless stated otherwise. White‑glove/priority services (where available) may attract additional charges, shown at checkout or quoted by our team.

5) Large Appliances & Installation

  • Appointment scheduling: After delivery of eligible products (e.g., Purify Tall/Neo), our service team will contact you within 24–48 hours to schedule installation.
  • Typical timeline: Installation is usually completed within 3–7 business days from delivery, subject to your availability and local service coverage.
  • Site readiness: Please ensure an accessible water inlet, drainage and power supply as per product requirements. If a revisit is needed due to site readiness, additional charges may apply.
  • Mounting/extra materials: Any civil/electrical/plumbing work and extra materials beyond the standard kit are chargeable at actuals.

6) Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link by email/SMS. You can also check status from your Boon account (if created) or by contacting support with your order ID.

7) Address Changes

  • Address edits are possible before dispatch. Please write to support@helloboon.com with your order ID and the updated address.
  • After dispatch, rerouting may be attempted (where courier allows) and could add 1–3 business days plus any applicable charges.

8) Undeliverable, Missed & Re‑deliveries

  • If no one is available at delivery, the courier will usually make up to 2 re‑attempts or hold the parcel at a nearby facility for pickup (as per courier policy).
  • Parcels returned to origin due to incorrect address, repeated non‑availability or refusal can be re‑shipped after confirmation. Additional shipping fees may apply.

9) Damaged, Leaking or Missing Items

  • Please refuse delivery if the outer carton is severely damaged or tampered with. If you accept it, take photos/videos of the unboxing.
  • Report issues within 48 hours of delivery to support@helloboon.com with your order ID, photos/videos and a brief description.
  • We’ll arrange a resolution — replacement of the affected item/part, or other remedies as per our Returns & Warranty policies.

10) Multiple Shipments

To speed up delivery, we may ship items in your order separately from different warehouses. You’ll receive separate tracking links if this happens. There is no extra charge for split shipments.

11) Pre‑orders & Back‑orders

Estimated ship dates for pre‑order/back‑order items will be shown on the product page or at checkout. Your card may be authorized or charged at the time of order as per the payment gateway’s policy. We’ll email updates if dates change.

12) Remote Areas & Restrictions

  • Some pincodes may be unserviceable or require additional transit time. We’ll contact you if your address falls in such an area.
  • Bulky shipments may attract a remote area surcharge as per courier terms; we’ll inform you before dispatch for approval.

13) Holidays, Strikes & Force Majeure

Delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, major festivals, road closures) are not Boon’s liability. We will work with logistics partners to minimize impact and keep you informed.

14) International Shipping

At present, we ship consumer orders within India only. For export/B2B requirements, please write to support@helloboon.com.

15) Ownership, Risk & Title

Ownership and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided, as confirmed by the courier’s delivery scan/status. For large appliances with installation, risk passes on delivery; installation does not affect transfer of title.

16) Tax Invoices (GST)

A GST tax invoice is issued for every order. Ensure your billing details and GSTIN (if applicable) are correct at checkout; revisions may not be possible after invoicing.
