Terms & Conditions (India)

Applies to: purchases made on helloboon.com, Boon official marketplaces, and orders placed directly with Swajal Water Pvt. Ltd. (“Boon”, “we”, “our”, “us”) for delivery within India.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our products and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Shipping & Delivery Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. If you purchase on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
3. Products and Availability
Product features, specifications, and images are for general guidance and may change or vary slightly due to continuous improvements. Availability is subject to stock. We may discontinue or limit quantities at any time.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept only when we dispatch the items (for appliances/accessories) or confirm installation scheduling (for eligible products). We may refuse or cancel orders for reasons including errors in pricing or availability, suspected fraud, or compliance issues.
5. Pricing, Taxes and Promotions
Prices are in INR and inclusive/exclusive of taxes as indicated at checkout. GST invoices are issued for all orders. Promotional offers, coupon codes, and bundles are subject to specific terms and may be withdrawn without notice.
6. Payment
We accept prepaid modes (cards, UPI, net banking, wallets). Cash on Delivery is not available. Payments are processed by third‑party gateways; we are not responsible for delays or failures attributable to those services.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timelines are estimates and begin after order verification and dispatch. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery at the address provided. Please review our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details on timelines, tracking, remote areas, and installation scheduling.
8. Installation (Applicable Products)
For eligible appliances (e.g., Purify Tall/Neo), our service team will contact you to schedule installation. Site readiness (water inlet, drainage, power point) is your responsibility. Non‑standard materials and additional civil/plumbing/electrical work are chargeable at actuals.
9. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Please see the Cancellations & Refunds Policy below for full terms. In brief: cancellations are possible before dispatch; after dispatch, recall and restocking charges may apply. Returns are accepted according to product category and condition, subject to inspection.
10. Warranty
Appliances include a standard limited warranty as stated on the product page/in the user manual. Consumables (filters, cartridges, membranes) are warranted against manufacturing defects at delivery but are otherwise wear‑and‑tear items with life dependent on feed water and usage. Warranty is void if the product is modified, misused, improperly installed, or serviced by unauthorised personnel.
11. Consumables and Hygiene
For safety and hygiene, consumables and opened accessories (e.g., filter cartridges, membranes, gaskets) are not returnable once the packaging is opened, except for manufacturing defects reported within the specified window.
12. IoT Services and Software
Where applicable, you receive a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable licence to use the embedded software and associated apps/IoT dashboards. Do not reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the services. Network connectivity (Wi‑Fi/BLE/GSM) depends on third‑party providers and your environment; service uptime is not guaranteed.
13. User Obligations
Use products according to the user manual and applicable laws. You are responsible for routine maintenance (e.g., timely filter changes) and safe operation. Damage due to negligence or unauthorised alterations is your responsibility.
14. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, product names (including Boon, UltraOsmosis, WaterAI, WaterCube, Refill, Homie) and website content are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not use them without prior written permission.
15. Third‑Party Services
We may link to or integrate third‑party services (e.g., payment gateways, courier tracking). Their terms apply in addition to ours; we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to your purchase or use of our products/services will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these terms, misuse of products, or violation of law or third‑party rights.
18. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or network outages.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts at Gurugram, Haryana will have exclusive jurisdiction. We encourage amicable resolution by contacting support first.
20. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes apply prospectively and will be indicated by the “Last updated” date.
