Limited Warranty Policy (12 Months)
1) Coverage
Swajal Water Pvt. Ltd. (“Boon”, “we”, “us”) warrants that the product’s core hardware is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential/office use for 12 months from the earlier of (a) the invoice date or (b) the installation date (installation must occur within 30 days of invoice).
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in:
- Electronic control boards, sensors, pumps, solenoid valves, motorized faucets
- Chassis/enclosure, internal piping/fittings (non-consumable), wiring harness
- Heating assembly and thermostat (for hot models)
- Cooling system, compressor, condenser/evaporator (for cold models)
During the warranty period, Boon will, at its option, repair or replace the defective part(s) at no charge for parts and labor.
2) What’s Not Covered (Consumables & Wear Items)
Filters and consumables are not covered. This includes, without limitation:
- Sediment/PP filters, carbon filters/blocks, UF/RO membranes, post-filters, inline filters
- UV lamps/LEDs used as sterilization consumables, O-rings, gaskets, tubing sections considered wear items
- External pre-filters, cartridges, chemical media, descalers, resin, and any routine service parts
Also excluded: routine maintenance, cleaning/descaling, calibration, and software/app updates not related to a manufacturing defect.
3) Other Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to issues caused by:
- Improper installation, commissioning, or use contrary to the user manual
- Use beyond published input water limits (e.g., extreme TDS, turbidity, iron, hardness, chlorine, temperature, pressure, pH), or use without recommended pre-filtration where required
- Unauthorized repairs/modifications, non-genuine parts, tampering with serial labels
- Power surge, improper earthing, voltage fluctuation, lightning, or outages
- Physical damage, abuse, negligence, liquid ingress into electronics, pests/rodents, corrosion from harsh environments, cosmetic wear (scratches, dents, discoloration)
- Relocation or re-installation by non-authorized personnel
- Commercial/industrial use if the unit is a home/consumer model
4) Owner Responsibilities
To keep this warranty valid, you must:
- Install and service the product through Boon-authorized personnel
- Replace filters/consumables on schedule (as indicated by usage, WaterAI/app alerts, or the user manual)
- Maintain recommended pre-filtration if your inlet water requires it
- Operate the unit within specified electrical and water parameters
5) Service & Support
- Diagnosis: We may perform remote diagnostics before scheduling service.
- On-site service: Available in select serviceable locations; otherwise carry-in or pickup/drop may apply.
- Costs: Parts and labor for covered defects are free during the warranty period. Travel/visit charges may apply outside service limits. Consumables and out-of-warranty work are chargeable.
6) How to Make a Claim
Please provide: (i) proof of purchase, (ii) product serial number, (iii) installation date, and (iv) a brief description of the issue.

7) Limitations
- Boon’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts as described above.
- No incidental or consequential damages are covered (including water damage, downtime, or lost use).
- In no event shall Boon’s aggregate liability exceed the original purchase price of the product.
- This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless required by law.
8) Geographic Scope & Governing Law
Valid in India for products sold by Boon or its authorized partners and installed within serviceable territories. Governed by the laws of India. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
9) Out-of-Warranty Support
After 12 months, Boon offers paid service and genuine replacement parts/consumables. We recommend only Boon-authorized service for safety and performance.
